# Manage the pipeline and deal stages

> Use stages to show real progress and expose blocked work.

**Open:** **Customers → Pipeline**.

Filter to the relevant owner or customer group, open a card and review the record before changing its stage. Use the offered stage control or board interaction, complete required information and confirm the change.

| Stage | Typical meaning |
| --------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| New | Enquiry received; qualification has not started |
| Contacted | Contact has been made |
| Information requested | Waiting for customer information |
| Site Assessed | Site information has been assessed |
| Quoted | An offer has been issued |
| Follow-up | Awaiting a decision or further discussion |
| Won | Sale outcome recorded |
| Lost | Opportunity did not proceed |
| Disqualified | Enquiry is not suitable |

These are sales stages. **Lead**, **Opportunity**, **Deal** and **Job** describe broader customer lifecycle context. Operational queues, compliance and payment states are separate.

## Move a customer forward

Review the last interaction, record the reason for the change and create the next task. When requesting information, identify exactly what is needed and a follow-up date. When work is lost or disqualified, record an accurate reason.

Do not move a card to Won to make a report look complete. Confirm the relevant acceptance and commercial evidence. Provider and workflow rules may govern which stage changes are allowed.

## Meta-connected leads

The supported outbound qualification event is tied to specific stage transitions. Read [Meta setup](/integrations/meta) before assuming every stage is sent back to advertising.

## ArgonixIntelligence in this workflow

Dashboard signals can point to overdue contact or stalled work. Stage and task updates remain deliberate staff actions based on the customer record.
