# Track rebates and certificate progress

> Use provider updates without confusing approval, inspection and settlement.

**Open:** the project's **Rebate tracking** tab. It can be disabled until an eligible provider connection or REC Registry tracking is enabled.

## Provider tracking

Connect [GreenDeal](/integrations/greendeal) or [Formbay](/integrations/formbay), then associate the correct application with the project. Confirm identity and site before accepting a suggested match.

Review reported application state, certificate details, missing evidence, supporting files and observation time. Use the provider's own system for actions ArcSolar does not offer.

## Optional REC Registry tracking

1. Open **Retailer Settings → Integrations**.
2. Enable **Track rebates with REC Registry Accreditation Code**, where offered.
3. Obtain the installation's actual accreditation code from the rebate agent.
4. Enter it in the project's tracking controls.
5. Review the returned activity and source time.

The accreditation code is not an installer licence, customer reference or invoice number. Public certificate information may arrive after the underlying event. Missing or stale data means more checking is needed.

## What a status does—and does not—prove

| Evidence                         | Do not infer                           |
| -------------------------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| Application submitted            | Application approved                   |
| Provider job approved            | Electrical inspection complete         |
| Certificates reported/registered | Rebate money received                  |
| Provider reports payment         | ArcSolar's customer balance reconciled |
| Sync failed                      | No claim exists                        |

Continue manual follow-up when the provider does not supply the required information. Keep rebate, compliance and financial records up to date independently.

## ArgonixIntelligence in this workflow

Use reported status to identify questions and tasks. Intelligence cannot certify a claim, infer settlement from certificate activity or fill missing evidence with assumptions.
