# Connect GreenDeal

> Verify your retailer account and link the correct application.

**Open:** **Retailer Settings → Integrations → GreenDeal**. You need integration-management access.

  <Step title="Find your credentials">
    In **GreenDeal Retail Portal → Settings → APP Credentials**, obtain the Client ID and Client Secret for your retailer.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify the account">
    Choose **Connect account**. Select **Live account** or **Staging / test account**, then enter **Client ID** and **Client Secret**. Choose **Verify credentials**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm the identity">
    Read the verified Client ID and environment. Confirm they belong to this retailer, then choose **Connect verified account**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Link a project">
    Open **Projects & Jobs**, select the project and open its GreenDeal area. Review a suggested match or search for the provider record. Compare the customer, installation address and reference before confirming the association.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the result">
    Review application details, evidence/files, certificate information and reported payment details. Check the last successful update and any error message.
  </Step>

## Use the linked information

GreenDeal application progress, certificate progress, inspection and payment can move independently. A reported certificate quantity is not proof that the rebate has settled. Open supporting details when the status needs explanation.

Refresh or sync using the action available on the linked record. If it fails, retain the known information and resolve the account or provider error. Do not treat an empty response as a confirmed absence of applications.

## Change accounts carefully

Use **Update credentials** when access changes. Recheck the identity and environment. Before disconnecting, review which linked projects depend on the connection and the confirmation shown.
