Open: a call in Comms, the customer’s call history or an authorised reporting call-detail view.
  1. Choose the correct customer and call date.
  2. Check whether the summary, transcript and recording are available.
  3. Read the summary for the discussion and next steps.
  4. Open the transcript or recording to verify important details.
  5. Record confirmed follow-up work with an owner and due date.
Summary availability depends on your plan, access and the captured source material. A call can exist without a recording or transcript. Processing, unavailable and available are different states.

Use the source carefully

Names, prices, technical terms and dates can be transcribed incorrectly. Verify commitments before quoting them back to the customer. If a summary combines recent context, inspect the listed source calls and timestamps. A call summary does not establish consent to a contract, payment or finance application. Use the corresponding acceptance or payment record.

Suggested work

Where suggested actions or AI-created task context are shown, review the customer, wording, owner and due date. Check Tasks to confirm whether a task actually exists; a sentence in a summary is not itself a scheduled task.

Troubleshooting

If there is no transcript, check whether the call was captured and whether processing is still underway. If the summary seems wrong, use the original recording/transcript and report the call reference to support without emailing private audio unnecessarily.
