Lesson 4 of 7 · Sales rep onboarding A confident recommendation starts before you choose a panel or battery. Your goal: collect the essentials and understand what the energy figures mean.

Ask for the essentials

Use your team’s approved request process to collect:
  • The customer’s goal: lower bills, a battery, backup needs or a different priority.
  • The installation address and existing solar or battery details.
  • A recent electricity bill and the site photos your team requires.
  • Roof, switchboard, phase, access or installation details that still need checking.
Read Collect site information for the full checklist. Never promise technical suitability from an incomplete form.

Read a bill with ArgonixIntelligence

  1. Open the quote’s bill-assessment flow and use an approved sample bill.
  2. Choose Assess bill with ArgonixIntelligence.
  3. Open Review bill assessment.
  4. Compare the extracted billing period, usage, rates and address with the original.
  5. Apply only the values you have checked. Confirm the installation site separately.
The detailed bill-analysis guide shows what to review. Keep private customer bills in the approved workflow.

Explain savings simply

Savings are an estimate based on assumptions, not a promise. Check whether usage means electricity bought from the grid or total household use, especially when the home already has solar. Confirm the bill period, tariffs, existing system and whether it will be kept or replaced. Ask your manager when an input is unclear. Try saying: “This estimate uses the usage and rates we reviewed. Your result will depend on how you use the system and future energy prices.” Understand the savings estimator before explaining a live result. If your role includes roof layouts, also read Roof design with your manager.
